I've been here 3 times with my coworkers for lunch and it never disappoints. I haven't had a chance to go back recently but it's on my list. It's a small mom and pop shop but it is so good. Worth every cent.

WHAT I ORDERED: Osam (spicy squid and pork) and Beef Soondubu PARKING: Parking lot INSIDE: Mom and Pop shop, great pictures of the food items hung on the walls, friendly staff as she took our order and called out when the food was ready. There's a rack to put your tray of dirty dishes when you're finished eating near the entrance. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The complimentary barley tea was refreshing, the osam had great flavor, not too spicy at all, but my favorite was the soondubu or tofu soup. It was rich in flavor and didn't skimp out on actual tofu and beef pieces.

I visited during a late afternoon for lunch and ordered the A4 osam - spicy pork with squid - which was absolutely delicious! The self-service water and tea were convenient, and I also enjoyed the refreshing sikhye. Looking forward to return when I have more time.

They were busy, but service was still fast and friendly. It's mostly self-serve since it was just the owners. I was disappointed in the portion of the banchan. They only gave us 2 pieces of kimchi, 4 pickled onions, and 2 pickled radish. You order at the counter, find a seat, pick up your order when ready, and put your dishes and tray away when done eating. Food wasn't bad, but I think I'd prefer going to Maht Gaek.

relatively affordable prices, great portions, and delicious food! I got the seafood soondubu, bulgogi, and sikhye. The bulgogi had rice cake inside, which I really loved, the sides were delicious as well (various forms of kimchi). The sikhye was a little sweet for my taste, but still delicious. Service was pretty fast and good enough (probably 4/5). Interior was pretty basic, but ambiance was nice overall

First time visit! This is more like a mom & pop place. I had the Galbitang Soup and it was soooo good. The meat was just cooked right, not tough at all. The egg in the soup--everything just give comfort to my tummy. Sorry, after tasting the soup I forgot to even take a picture! Lol... they need some variation when it comes to banchan, would have loved it if they had seasoned cucumber! Definitely coming back for another visit--maybe I'll try Samgaetang!
